For some odd reason when I heard news that my childhood friend was killed in a car accident I thought of another friend we used to get together with and sing this song and others. Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel. Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
