Downtown Donna raises money for LA Regional Food Bank

Knowing that the food bank has been having problems with keeping up with this recession, we know that desperate times make for desperate measures. Having been challenged by a Downtown Resident to come to Gays on ice in drag and he would donate 50 dollars for each man dressed in drag. Well, I couldn't pass it up. Watch the video to see Downtown Donna and learn why she was at Pershing Square.

that's fantastic Don!! =) I wish I could have been there was inside with a bad cold I brought back with me from Florida otherwise I would have braved the cool night air.

once again it is the wax in my ears. this time there was so much wax it was stuck to my ear drum. The doctor had a hard time with the wax.

So for those who might think going out in the cold as Donna contributed to this ailment , well safe to say it did not...

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
