Putting important papers in a box

Well, I am putting important papers in a box I am putting in storage. It isn't much, but who cares. I can't believe I am leaving here. It feels good to know this and I look forward to this.

Anyway , I am enjoying the new HD LCD television I have and it is receiving the signals quite well. I just don't understand the transition. I think because it is HD ready I am not going to need a converter box. I am getting the other HD channels that the local stations are transmitting. I am looking forward to the television show Lost. I can't wait to move into my new place and just relax and get my rear to the hospital and then after watch the show. No more skid row to worry about and I can choose one of the non-profits to support instead of having to highlight all of them. It is great. They know who they are, the ones I will help support. Of course SRO Housing Corporation will not be one of them. They are the most corrupt and rotten organization down here in skid row.

But who cares about them. What matters is I am leaving and can get on with my life without worrying if the managers will come into the room and poison me with pesticides or make excuses to come into the room when I am away to steal my things. This is what they do.

Back to Lost. I can't wait . Lost and not having to worry about skid row anymore. I am too sick to deal with these issues. I will write that book , though.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
