the apocalypse is upon us or what the you know what

The History Channel will be airing a show about the predictions of the year 2012. Many of us already know that there is a large community out there aware of the mayan calendar, the predictions of nostradamus, and other sources claiming that the end of the world is going to happen in the year 2012. Have we had enough of all of the ravings and ramblings about the end of the world? Yet, now the History Channel is in the business of promulgating this information with their new show : Nostradamus and 2o12.

I wonder if the end of the world as we know it is the result of the entropic decline of intellectual science and the scientific method for discovering the realities of the universe? Or is there something to all of these warnings.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
