Shoes arrive from NIKE in skid row downtown los angeles

WOW!!! Who would have thought that NIKE would help the residents in skid row help themselves. A hand up for those who have struggled to create from the grassroots opportunities for themselves to acquire the tools they need to help them increase their ability to stay healthy and confident. They didn't have to beg to the larger entities in the community for these things, and realized the fruits of their labor , which has brought back their sense of self-respect and dignity , which will only increase. Thank you NIKE.

This is a well constructed shoe,
This is a nice shoe good with a good fit, it will help with hops on the court and it has nice fit. I like the strap because I don’t have to worry about accidents and hurting my ankle because of the good ankle support.
The strap on the high tops keep the shoe strings in place and gives the added support that you need.
I used to play football and don’t like to put all that tape around my shoes….
Wow!! Here’s my opportunity to get my skills and my djing ability plus, this is my launching pad…… I was impressed , I was honored to to be asked to be a part of this…..

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
