According to sources , blogdowntown has made a bid in the billions for the Los Angeles Times. Rumors are that Ed Fuentes will be named as the CFO of the new latimesblog.com...

With the downturn in their revenue, the LA Times has seen dramatic cuts in employees and circulation of Southern California's largest newspaper.

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel. Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
