Los Angeles Theater Center attacked at Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability committee meeting



Welcome to the new downtown. One of the participants at the meeting , participating in the create your own urban space game , said that the LATC was a wasted space. There was huge applause after he said that the NEW LATC was a waste of space.

The person seemed very ignorant of the policies and the reasons why certain developments were created the way they are. Anyway that is the person in the photo above who said that the LATC was a waste of space.....

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
