downtownla.com becoming more dynamic

Downtownla.com is becoming a more dynamic website. Just this week, I received a notice in my subscription to the newdowntown list that photos from dog day afternoon were available. I say; it is about time!!! Where has the downtownnla.com website been over the years? Now I can blog to my hearts contenet and send folks to the site, whereas ,there never really was a reason to do so , now there is.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
