Lucky Strike bowling begins November 22nd

Bowling begins at LA LIVE on November 22nd. That is right folks . Downtown Los Angeles now has a place to bowl. It has been coming for a long time, but it is finally here. The wait is over. I can now walk to the bowling alley from my apartment. Life has now gotten better. The announcement was made last night at the November meeting of the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood council. I will see you there on the 22nd . It is great!!!! Tammy K Billings made the announcements of all of the fun and best of all it looks like we will also be having a Christmas Parade. That was what was missing downtown for a long time. Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles will now make a synergy because of the redline that connects both tourist attractions. God Bless America!!! That was what Hal Bastion, the Downtown business improvement district economic director , was saying all night at the board meeting last night. Well, god bless HAl!!!! Lot's of great things coming to Downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
