Midnight Mission gets ready for DIck Van Dyke Harmony Group- the Vantastix- Thanksgiving- woohooo!!!!!!!




Dick Van Dyke Trio will be singing at the MIdnight MIssion Celebration this Thanksgiving Holiday day. The Celebration is held on 6th Street between San Pedro Street and San Julian Street. More info coming soon

Every Thanksgiving Day I never miss the Midnight Mission Thanksgiving Day Celebration. Some have asked me where the best place to go and be of service on Thanksgiving. I always say the Midnight Mission because they have their celebration on Thanksgiving day. I never miss Thaksgiving Day at the Midnight Mission. It is like family there during the Thanksgiving Celebration. Even if I didn't live in Skid Row I would be there. Thanksgiving , Christmas , and Easter. Lot's of love there.


For those men who like to party you can go to an after thanksgiving party at the AVALON. Bring a toy and you get 20 dollars off of the price of admission. Just to let you know the AVALON party is for men who like men who ...um like turkey.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
