Wendy Greuel and Jan Perry and the Business Community make downtown whole





If only we were in New Orleans we would have had a brass band walking and there would have been dancing in the streets . Downtown is now whole thanks to Wendy Greuel and Jan Perry and the business community . The nighttime Dash will be running to LA Live and all across the place so folks can enjoy the Downtown Los Angeles that is happening now. For folks , like myself, who have been trapped in the evenings the DASH will travel to the LA LIVE where I will be bowling at the new LUCKY STRIKES bowling Alley opening up next week. Folks; Downtown Los Angeles is now whole. You can get all of the information at one of the other sponsors other than Latowncrier.com over at Blogdowntown. They have the map and the rest of the story. Eric Richardson , of course , was also one of those who supported the efforts to bring the NIGHTIME DASH to downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Gordon Turner visits skid row on election day

Gordon Turner does make it to skid row on this election day. He was at San Julian Park passing out flyers and speaking to voters. Some voters got excited and asked for handfuls of flyers to begin to pass out to voters on the Nickel.  Someone had passed out flyers last night , apparently, because there were already flyers all over skid row when he arrived.
